What is Polesitter?
Polesitter is a mobile phone app that allows you to simplify your drives with all of your friends. Track and compile all the drives that you complete. Never lose any friends with full GPS tracking with Google Maps. Send invites straight to everyone’s calendars so events are never missed. Polesitter is your sidekick to keep all of your driving events organized and friends connected. From your weekend drives to your weekly meetups, Polesitter will be riding shotgun with you.
Who can use Polesitter?
Do you drive together with your friends? Do you go to the weekly car meetups? Do you daily your sportscar? Do you hardly drive your garage queen and wish you drove it more? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you will use Polesitter and love it.
When should someone choose to use a Private Drive vs a Public Drive?
Private Drives are best for those who want to keep their favorite routes a secret. We know you are out there and we are here for you. Only other drivers invited to a Private Drive will be able to view the route of that drive later.
Public Drives are best for letting everyone know common routes and what to expect if you are repeating these routes again.
Who can see my drive routes?
Only your friends in the app can see your Public and Solo Drive routes. If you complete a Private Drive, only you and those invited on that drive can see the route.
Is there a limit for the number of cars for each drive in Polesitter?
No, there is no limit for numbers of cars.
Does Polesitter work when there is no cell reception?
Yes, Polesitter will remember the route driven even if there is no cell reception where you are driving.
Can I upload my Drives to Social Media?
Yes, drives can be shared with your favorite Social Media channel upon completion of the drive.
Does the leaderboard compile statistics for all drives?
Yes, the Leaderboard compiles statistics for all drivers and all drives that are completed. You can filter by all users, friends only, and by Make and Drive Type as well.
Is Polesitter free for all drivers to use?
Yes, Polesitter is free for all drivers.
What is the best way to enjoy Polesitter?
You should use Polesitter on every drive that you enjoy.
